good, thanks, corals add a lot of color, anemones add clown homes and are sweet to look at, but these require more light and higher water quality than fish only tanks.

Metal halides work …
Metal halides work good, i had a 48 inch Aquaspace aqua light hanging above my 90g last year i had about 700watts total, i’ll be honest with you, acros loved it , but everything else’s burnt out, i ran it 8 hours on only! poor corals bleached out! it was a bad experience. if i was you i’d keep the compacts or go with some T5’s .. you have some nice coral, don’t shock them with MH lights unless your doing Acros only.

i am probably going to upgrade to a metal halide or maby some t5s i moved everything into my 100 gallon now running 6 power compacts on that needs a little more light, thanks

good job. I can’t believe how well compact lights work! i just finished making a hood with 5 T5’s over my 90g, im using (13,000k x2white,) ( actinic x2blue) and (10,000k white x1) i didnt think it would be enough power, but its been amazing. corals love it. Haven’t even had the need to use the 10,000k light at all. just the four so far, untill i get some more corals.
