    i agree, though the tank owner clearly knows what they are doing. the tank has sufficient filtration for the fish load, though it could use live rock - based on popular reef keeping standards. yes i know its not a reef.

    its also clear the owner quarantined the fish until they are in perfect health. a tank with this many fish is IMPOSSIBLE without a quarantine procedure. the tank is not medicated, because i see a lobster of some kind. inverts would die in a medicated tank.

    most of the fish in the video do not school. fish that would be found in groups have complex “pecking orders” that are difficult to accomplish in the aquarium due to limited space. the 400 gal tank is big enough for some species though. also, reef fish don’t typically group together with other species. you’d never find those tangs together in the wild.
