Nice looking Platy’s!
I have a aquarium with only platy’s..
First I bought 2. After some months they gave birth to more than 40 new platys!
Not I have around 20 because many of the young ones died. Now its all good. My tank is small. But I surely love the Platys. I only have yellow with black tails and orange with black tales. =( Your looks great.

You have a very colorful tank, its beautiful!
As for the pleco (sucky thing), I would guess it would be some kind of fin fungus of some sort. They have little disk of medicine that you can drop in to clear that up.
