Hey, do your angels ever attack your neons? I want to put both fish in the same tank but people say its a bad idea. They say that when the angel gets big it will eat the neons. Is this true? Nice set up too!

Too small for so …
Too small for so many angels. A pair will probably form, and you’ll be down to two agressive parents guarding their eggs. Goldies shouldn’t be with tropical fish. The chinese algae eater will get about a foot long, and start preying on fish.
Other than that, good job.

definately right …
definately right about the goldfish, but you’re a bit off on the plec. it’t a dwarf plec (pekolita spp.) so it won’t get bigger than 3-4 inches; no problem in a 20 gallon.

Hey how’s the tank doing??
I’m really curious cause I have a 20 gallon with 2 fantails, they’re not nearly as big as yours though.
I’m just wondering if everyone got along alright cause I want to put more fish in mine.

yea ur right the goldie and angels will eat the neons as time goes on, plec and algae eater will possibly fight and both will feed off the goldfishes slime! nice to see the tank working despite the awful combinations, well done !

goldfish is a coldwater fish
pleco will outgrow your tank and add alot of waste so does the goldfish
