The Silica Sand … The Silica Sand goes good with the plants and the fish. I am getting some of that today to replace the rock bed in my 30 gallon tank. Ill post a vid about it when I am finished.

Maybe you better … Maybe you better read some books about it or look on the Internet how to start an aquarium that the best way to start this hobby, I did and I’m still learning although I have this hobby a long time.
to n1ckg07 use … to n1ckg07 use aquarium soil or laterite underneath sand or fine gravel or if u are up and running use root tablets and liquid fertilizers but with the liquid fertilizer if u got carbon or chemical removing media in ya filters that will take tit out the water fairly quickly .root tablets are slow release combination of both best
could someone help … could someone help me please im trying to set up a tank. do the plants live ok in just the sand or do they require soil or somthing under the sand for the nutrience and stuff?
