you only need to ...
you only need to use RO/DI water on a saltwater tank, Tapwater that is properly dechlorinated and at the proper temperature is perfectly fine for the freshwater aquarium. However using RO/DI water in a marine aquarium is very important, it is actually a key component to a healthy marine aquairum.

agree completely, ...
agree completely, and ill expand a little bit, on any tank you should be using rodi water to do a water change if you love your fish, themperature needs to be stable to what it is in the tank before adding the water to the tank and if you are using tap water then you need to dechlorinate the water at minimum before you put it in the tank,, this item is worthless

Anyone who is ...
Anyone who is doubting this, you can not do a water change on a large tank very easily without one of these. If the tank ius 10 gallons or under, its kinda pointless to use the extra money.

Don't stare ...
Don't stare yourself blind on this guys as if it were some super solution, the problem with the python is that you don't have any accurate control of the water temperature, fish are very sensitive to that, especially in smaller tanks this could lead to problems.
